Day 275

Hey everyone,

Here is my tank at day 275. A lot has changed since I first set it up. I have battled cyano and GHA. Both of which I contribute to adjustments and new tank syndrome. I have a chaeto reactor now and also use filter floss, chemipure blue, and matrix in my HOB filter. I have also added in Seachem Pristine and Stability. Everything is really coming around and I am truly enjoying the hobby!

Thanks junbug! I plan on adding more things like a bubble tip anemone on the left purple rock, ano open brain coral, and some others. But I am currently setting up a 5 gallon for a harlequin shrimp, neon goby, and nps tank.

My personal favorite nps coral (mainly because I got some as hitchhikers)
The hidden cup coral.. I feed mine once a week..sometimes more
I had 3 a year ago.. and found a 4th the other day.. under a rock.. so I think they have reproduced in there..


Anyways.. they started off with like 8 tenticals each..and pretty short... now they have big long tenticals.. and at least 32 each.. some even fork out at the ends...

They have a slight greenish glow in there tenticals under my moon lights

I really want to find more.. but no one sells them.. they are just a hitchhiker coral.. and that makes them even neater in my book..

These pictures are from about 6 months ago.. I can't get any good pictures where they are anymore :-/
