The Merten's Carpet lasted much longer on DD than I thought it would.

So... who got it?

I get it that merts are rare but this thing just isn't visually appealing to me. LA's description of "purple with yellow tips" is really straining credulity - that thing is brown with faint undertones of purple. That's why it lasted so long at that price.

Very similar actually. I wonder if the top one will darken similarly over time... it does look a bit pale, comparatively.

They are the ugly step sister of the hosting anemones. Drab colors unless you use heavy actinic.

They are usually browns or greens

Cool! The brown w/ purple column/foot, wasn't worth $150, IMO.

I grabbed another 8-9" 'ish Ritteri, just last week, for $79.99. Unfortunatley, not a WYSIWG. Drab colors, especially compared to my previous Ritteri. However, I can't complain too much. It's doing well, eating and hosting a pair of my Extreme Picasso's. =) I'll take it out of the basket soon and snap a few shots.

Divers den didn't post until 6:32pm est or so, I sat there refreshing the whole time because in looking for the right mag to go up, needless to say I passed on this one. Glad one of us got it though.
