I would like to see pics. The pricing on blueline angels is usally reversed, smaller ones going for more than larger sized. A heathy/eating blueline angel ranges in the $300 area.

I bought mine for $40 4 years ago. But it was caught by a young kid in a tidal pool about 3km from the shop.

The price for these fish has tripled at least here in Japan over the past few years and they are more available than ever. I don't consider it the most expensive fish in my tank although it is by far now.

I'd definitely have a pair of those at that price! Theres another online store right now that has four 4-6" bluelines for $250. Gorgeous fish.

Great fish. Mine is now 9", fat and my favorite by far. Very mellow angel and doesn't pick on others, but don't mess with it.

If indeed they were bought at that price, I would be very hesitant. When fish like taht show up SO far off teh market price, there HAS to be a reason. Maybe it was a clerical mistake, or maybe they are unhealthy, or maybe they are illegal, or maybe the source just has a connection. IMO, fish like that iat the price mentioned are too good to be true. JMHO.
