dead clown (I think)

O.K. heres my dumd question of the day. When I came home tonight I noticed that one of my clowns was no where to be found in my nano. Not sure the exact kind of clown besides looks like Nemo. Anyway my question(s) is what might have killed him. He was probuly only about 6 months old. He dose have a mate in the tank with him. I got them at the same time about 3 months ago. The one that is left I think was a little of a bully, but I cant till because he isnt bullying anything right now. I tested the water and it seems fine. So is it normal for a fish that is in good water to just up and die. Also should I try and get a new mate/friend for my remaning clown.

are you sure he didnt jump in the back...Ihave an aquapod and minehas just enough clearance between the hood and the backofthe tank for them to jump in where the filter media is at.

Sick fish tend to hide, so their is a chance that he might still be alive
