Dead return pump

Well i was sitting in front of my computer when i saw the light shut off on my tank , so went to check why.
Well one of my return pump just stop working and overloaded the circuit on the electric ruler turning off the lights and the other returning pump.

The pump is an ecoplus 1267 1347gph pump, which pump will be the a good replacement?

Take the pump apart and clean the impeller and the housing that it sits in, make sure you clean all internal surfaces and get rid of the slime that builds up. Then plug it in in a totally separate circuit and see if it doesn't work now. Make sure you do have it in at least a bucket of water as its not good to dry run the submersible pumps.

We have a tendency to overload a circuit for our tanks as they have a lot of electrical components. If just one is causing a drag on that circuit it will trip the breaker.
