Dead snail...problem???

Hey guys

One of my nas snails flipped over and died. Should I pull him out or let him rot? Will he harm my fish.

Tank isn't very old. Couple weeks.

4 clowns and a chromis. Two hermits one turbo.

50 lbs live rock
60 lbs live sand
55 gal. Water parameters all good

1 dead nass in there isn't going to be a problem, but 4 clowns and a chromis is a bit early for a couple week old tank. Had it gone through the cycle before you added fish? If not, you are going to need to test every day for ammonia and get ready to do some regular water changes as it starts to spike so you can essentially counter the spike. Better yet, lend the fish and inverts to someone for a few more weeks until it passes.

If all of the rock was well cured and cycled, you may be able to skate through with only a blip of an ammonia spike.

Dead snails stink to high heaven. If you can grab it, grab it! I can't imagine just letting it sit there for any length of time. The CUC will probably take care of it for you, but putting them to work is not exactly what you want to do if you know what I mean.

should be fine but keep an eye out for another cycle with that bioload. just be careful and you will be good
