December '07 Tank Pics

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years everyone . November and December have been sort of bad months for the tank. I've lost a few frags to rtn and its very frustrating, yet others continue to grow just fine. rotated my bulbs back to reeflux 12k's and brought a 20g refugium add-on online.

I was trying to wait until you finished to commend you this month. I know it has not been easy and when I saw the chester all cut up, I was saddened for you. Like you have always told me, "if its not one thing with these reefs, its another"

That is one nice chaeto farm

I was thinking, Are you going to throw some sand in that? Even in the future, you can still do your other idea, just on a 4-5 in sand bed. It might help "soften" some things.

very nice. i like the fuge arrangement. any noticable noise with when stand doors are closed with the fuge water running into the sump?

Looks good Tim. Sorry to hear of the problems you've been having. Nice fuge, but what was in that space before? I don't seem to remember any room to spare under your tank. Did something else go away?
