Please never discuss that day again. :o

Yeah, I thought he mentioned that you helped him Mark. Just to further your dreaded memory of I believe Tim described, a 30 hour tear down and rebuild, during which he systematically trashed corals that he just didn't want to deal with placing again!!!
I can't complain though, as I was the lucky recipient of a rather enormous "frag" of Cali Tort for a pittance that was just wedged in the rockwork until he found a permanent home for it.
Tim, next time just remember that most of us will work for nothing more than those unfortunate frags that don't seem to fit in anywhere:rollface:

thanks for the props everyone :).

marko9, putting sand in that fuge is a possibility :).

KMP, the water from the fuge makes a slight, pleasant noise. its barely noticeable when the doors are on.

jtarmitage, my CA reactor was taking up that space. i crammed it into the other side of the tank :). since it doesn't get as much ambient light from the fuge, it shouldn't grow coralline :).

MrMikeB, yep...that dang sand was turning to solid brick in some spots and just had to be yanked! :mad2:

bkmorris, gotta love them chalices that just take up space at the bottom :)

You have an amazing tank. We love the frags we rec'd from you. Sorry to hear about your recent coral problems. Keep at it, things will turn around.

Again great looking tank
Eddie

So can I play too? I know my little tank won't hijack Tim's thread...but since he didn't title it "my dec 07 tank pics" I figure he is looking for us to play along since he mention he wanted to see more club tank pics.

The camera is a nikon coolpix that is beat all to hell and about 3 years old. It has the extened lens that gets in the way of the flash for the macro shots. A new one is on the xmas list...

What's left...um...the stuff I picked up today. I had to work in Monterey. Thinking about the drive home, I figured I would make a quick stop in Union City to see what all the fuss was about. Brought these home...

Tim,

You always renew my passion for reefing everytime you update us on your tank. The mummy's eye piece is absolutely glowing in your tank & the Tyree watermelon underneath your pink lemonade totally stands out like pastel colors! You're going to have to give me a growth shot on that one. Great pictures & wonderful job at reefing.

thanks again for the props my fellow reefers. i'm glad i can provide some inspiration/motivation as i often need that to keep me going along.

jj4417...how DARE you...stop by atlantis and not bring me back something! :) hope you guys are still training away. me and this cold weather don't mix :mad2:.

Don't you have everything you want already? It's people like you that hog all the good stuff and don't leave any for us lowers... :)

Just running...haven't been on the bike or in the pool in months. I really need to get back on the bike. Possibly heading to run up at the confluence this weekend if your interested.

Besides...you need to drop by and give me some tips on my tank.

lol...there just ain't enuf room for all the ones i want ;). i've slowed down the collection side unless its a chalice :).

thank for the offer to run, but you guys run too far and fast for my liking :). c'mon now, you KNOW your current tank is just a placeholder :D.

Man it is nice to see a lot of thoese frags grown out (I haven't seen your tank in a while)....and when did the LPS bug bite..I've got a red watermellon that I should add to your collection.

david, hope all is well with you man :D.

wifey bought herself a canon rebel xti so i thought i'd give it a try. its way more complicated than our canon powershot a95. not sure which one i'll use in the future.

Wow Tim, your colors are really close. That is a great 1st try. The cquarium is not photogentic right under my DE.

man, it took me forever just to capture some decent ones. it got old towards the end :(.

I know what you mean. You snap all those shots and then you have to process them only to find out that over half just aren't right. I snapped over 200 today after a waterchange. Only about 80 of them made it to the computer.
