This is my first meeting. Are there any initiation stunts I need to worry about ;) Are the directions posted somewhere?

Your initiation just consists of dancing the swim with either Paul W. or Paul T., whomever you think is the cutest. If you do not know this dance you had better Google it and learn it. They are very strict about knowing the steps.
 
Are first timers welcome? I have never been to anything like this before but would like to check it out. Just getting started in the hobby. Is it a social event, members only, ????? Thanks in advance :confused:

This meeting will be kind of a social since we are meeting at my house, but you will get to meet a lot of the club members and ask any questions you may have a bout the hobby and learn more about the club.

It should be a good time, please come along.

I love a good contest. Methinks the 2 pauls should have a dance contest...adding the twist to the swim. Watusi? ha ha ha Coming to your first meeting in someone's home is the best way to meet everyone.

I am bringing name tags so please, everyone put your names and your RC names on them. This is more for me than the newcomers.
 
Could I ask one favor that I have heard other people mention. Can we have name tags with our real and internet names? Especially with all the new people we have it would be really helpful. I for one can't remember any of the names after people introduce themselves, even if they say it loud enough to hear. :)

Prior to the meeting the club officers are getting together to discuss plans for next year. Due to time constraints we dont have a lot of tiume to meet, so please try to NOT arrive before 7.30. That way we can spend more time talking.

To save Stephanie a lot of work on the night of the January meeting, please try to pay 2007 Subscriptions at the meeting at my home. That way we can have new 2007 membership cards made up for you. Also, remember we now offer associate memberships as well.
