Dedicated LTA tank suggestions

Costa reefing

Anything out of the ordinary to keep them happy?

The tank has a deep enough sand bed (4.5in)
It has room for the nem to grow out (at the moment its only 5in across)
The tank is powered by a 250w MH with a phoenix bulb
As for water flow, the main pump is an Eheim 1250 and a maxijet 600 which feeds the skimmer that then later dumps into the front of the tank.

At this point all I can think of is getting one of those "Y" shaped pieces of lockline to divide up the water being put out by the Eheim

Any other suggestions? I will put up a pic of the tank once I get home.

Woops forgot that part.

50g tank, custom made so im not sure the dimensions off the top of my head

The 250MH is suspended about a foot off the water surface and the nem is on the sandbed directly under the light about 16in below the water surface.

salinity: 1.026
temp: 79°

I suppose the main thing i am trying to figure out is flow. Just how much is needed? enough to make the tentacles sway in the current, more, less? Indirect flow?

Here are the pics, the 1st one w/o flash is to get a general idea of the setup.

The LTA is on the bottom left as pointed by red arrow

Setup looks pretty cool and placement seems fine.
That light may be a touch on the high side for it, my guess it may tuck in more towards rocks and possibly under that little ledge to shade itself a lil.
For flow I like about 30-40x turnover for a mixed reef, and that is pretty good for LTA's/doreensis, flow aimed so tents gently wave.
Cover all intakes.

Its alright if it moves around a bit, it will probably cover that half of the tank after a while either way.
There are no pumps in the display and the overflow is covered so I think its all good.

Thanks for the tips!
