I'm sorry to hear that:)

Little update, I was dealing with some sort of bacterial bloom that was covering my sand, after pulling back some of my dosing and a couple other things, got the browning out issue solved and everything is recovering. A lot of my sps growths were stunted for the past month is now flourishing and growing their bases out thankfully.

Starting to get encrusting coraline all over my glass finally and the slime brown snot crap is gone completely from my tank. Week 3 of using a carbon reactor.

Sometimes this hobby just kicks you when you least expect it, over the last month I've lost my longnose butterfly, gulf goby, a black clown and tonight my sixline. No signs of disease, no parameter swings....I'm lost and I expect the worst that my dusky, melanarus, and leopards are next :(

Things were looking great, I'm sorry that you lost all those fish and the fact that they died for no apparent reason makes it even worse:(

I've basically have left the tank alone for a month on cruisr control, no adding anything and just let the ato and doser keep everything in check. Haven't lost anything since the loss of my other fish and everything seems fine, parameters in check so I'm gonna let the tank do its thing.

Things have been fine with the tank, all my wrasse are healthy and eating. I've been busy getting ready for the 600g sps tank and will make a thread for it once its set into place its a deep dimension tank so I'm excited.

Casually says "I've been getting ready for the 600g sps tank" mate try and be a little more excited:lol:. Wow 600g is a big step up from 60g, I can't wait for the new thread to start:bounce1:. What are the dimensions, lighting, skimmer, sump etc details:D

Haha, well the 60g isn't my only tank either since jumping back into the hobby, we have a 300g sps grow out system that is doing 20x better than this system. The 600g is 96x48x30, thats all I'm saying until it arrives and stand is done being welded

Oh my, you have a 300g system as well! I could start to hate you very soon:lol:. Please tell me you have a thread for the 300g? Very nice. haha very hush hush:p
