Hi everyone,

I bought a used Deltec Calcium reactor kit and I think I'm missing some parts. This is a JL aquatics kit that is suppose to come with the following.

I received all these

- 501 reactor with Provision for pH electrode
- Circulation Pump
- Bubble Counter
- dual gauge regular with solenoid and needle valve
- 10lb Aluminum CO2 cylinder
- ROWALith Calcium C+

I do not have these......at least I don't think I do

- Non-Return Valve for CO2
- Gas Collector
- Adjustable Gas Recirculation Valve
- Micro Filter

Can I use an air line non-return valve or does it have to be built specifically for CO2? Also, if the guy ran it without one, how do I know if the CO2 needle valve was damaged by saltwater?

What is a "Gas Collector"?

What is a "Adjustable Gas Recirculation Valve"?

1000 thanks in advance!

The regular air check valve will work for a little while, maybe a week or more, you never know, I am using an old Tetra one that is actually CO2 safe, but have a medical grade one in the fish drawer just in case. You do not want to operate without one. Even though my AP claims to not need one, I have one just in case. Saltwater is highly corrosive to metal and backflow is possible.

I did find this with a google search, it may help.

I can not find any docs. on "Gas Collector" and "Adjustable Gas Recirculation Valve" I googled them and found my thread heh.

The only thing I can think of is maybe these are 2 features built into the regulator?
