I just wanted to voice my dissatisfaction with my recent order. Among other things I ordered a "Deluxe CO2 Regulator". On the website this is shown as an M3 regulator and is described to be "chrome plated", etc.
Upon receipt of my order I was a little disappointed at seeing a somewhat generic looking CO2 regulator that was not an M3 and not chrome plated. In fact it looks to me to be a generic CO2 regulator for which I paid a premium price for and for which I have no idea as to the brand/quality. It is not the one I researched and decided to buy.
Upon contacting Marine Depot they told my the M3 regulators are backordered (for a month or so). They apparently just decided to ship this thing out instead (without telling me).
I find this practice totally not acceptable (and probably illegal as well). They have delayed me from getting my calcium reactor setup by at least a week. Luckily MD has agreed to refund my money and pay for shipping back to them (still waiting on the UPS call tag BTW...).
Let this be a warning to any others who are considering buying an M3 regulator from them...you might want to call first and ask about what you will really get.
