All,
The Denver area is having a meeting at Hal Chantker's House on June 17th at 2:00pm Directions . Below is a description of his tank and a picture.
Where: The Chantker's Home @ 11107 West Marlowe Ave. Littleton, Co 80127
When: Saturday, June 17th
Time: 2 PM - until Hal kicks us out
Hal has a 72 gallon bow-front with a 10 gallon fuge and four 110 watt VHO lighting. He keeps mostly LPS with some softies, a couple SPS frags, and six fish. A year ago Hal experienced a bad case of hair algae however with some hard work and a few interesting discoveries Hal was able to win the battle and turn his tank around into a very nice tank once again. Hal, like most of us, is working on a shoestring budget, so he doesn't have the fancy equipment that most people think is needed to be able to keep a tank this nice. Come discover the tricks that Hal has discovered and view a nice tank that didn’t require a second mortgage to put together.
