Deresa Clam and Copper Band Butterfly

I am considering getting a deresa clam, which would be the first in my tank, but have some reservations about my CBB picking at it. Can anyone tell me if it is a real concern or should I be fine. I can say that the CB eats frozen food like a pig and has never picked on anything other than feather dusters and aptasia.

My CBB was the first fish in my tank.
I've added 6 clams since then and he hasn't touched any of them.

Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m worried about the same thing I have a cbb, he donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t go after any corals. I'm just worried about the clam.

Like mbbuna siad that it depends on the fish but I would suggest keeping a close eye on him for the first week.

I have a large Copperband in my tank with a bunch of clams, i have noticed that he only picks on clams when they are new residents or fairly small, 2" or smaller, but anything bigger he wont' touch.

I just added a corcea clam to my tank and my cbb hasn't paid any attention to it at all so far. My cbb has never touched any of my corals or inverts.
