desperate need for star fish

my harlequin shrimp hasnt eaten in a few weeks and i cannot find any chocolate chip stars anywhere... ive checked 3 stores near coram and smithtown anyone know where there might be one?? or i would trade someone an urchin for one..... anyone seen any????? thanks

I saw a MONSTER CC Star for $25.00 at that new LFS on Astoria Blvd. in Astoria. I considered buying it for my Harlequins, but passed. That was about a week ago, I have no idea if it's still there.

well i just went today. and i have a graduation party saturday, so I don't think I'll go again until sunday. unless I'm hung over from the party. which is a real possibility. :beer:

thanks everyone...i ended up telling pet stop in huntington to hold a red knobby star for me.... but please keep me in mind when u go diving.....that would help me out so much...

ok just an update... i worked all night last night, nad got up after sleeping 4 hours so i could go to pet stop and pick up this star fish they ahd on hold for me... almost an hour trip from my house... i get there and they had sold it to someone else... the guy was almost laughing at me and said why wouldnt i sell it. um maybe because you told me you would hold it for me and now ive wasted over two hours of my day driving. there was a lot of things i felt like saying when i was in there...but i decided to come here and rant instead... let me just say i will never go there ever again...and they could of had a good customer too

The Harlequin Shrimp eat the starfish In fact, it's the only thing they eat, so the only way to keep Harlequin Shrimp is to have a constant supply of starfish to feed them.
