Dialing in Tunze wavebox

Rodger...ok i have a few problems trying to set this thing up. Is it vital that the unit be placed against an outer wall? My tank is 360 view and id like to place it within the center island. It looks like i wont be able to properly attach it without the magnets. MD says there is a backorder for the large ones. How soon do you expect those to arrive? Does the cross current by my tunze stream affect the performance of the wave box (ie. could i direct the box toward a direction opposite a tunze stream?).

i think i answered my own questions...after attaching and dialing in properly, i have managed to create a 1/2 in wave from end to end, but i would probably need to get the extension to create a bigger wave? My tank is approximately 350 (96x33x24).

Yes, the extension would increase the wave size and I will have those in a few days.
