Did I get screwwed?

Trying to save a few bucks, bought a used wavebox - the pump model is a 6260.10 - I have looked all over the internet and these seem to be sold more in Europe (or at least replacement pumps are) - is this a really old model or ??

Next - if I plan on using this unit as an extension to a new 6212 wavebox will it work optimally (96 x 48 x 36 high tank) or am I the proud new owner of an old single only wavebox?

I dont remember model number on the wavebox pumps but just sounds like you got a little older one before they swapped to the laptop style power supplys about a year or so ago(dont remember the exact time), not a big deal at all IMO. Either way it will work fine with a current 6212 as the controller does the sync.

6260.10 was used from late 2004 to mid 2007, from mid 2007- present we use 6261. They are compatible.

Last question, do you think 2 will be strong enough on a 96 x 48 x 36 deep tank?

I have 2 on a 96x48x30 tall and it gives me a nice 1.5" wave, no more than that though...........
