I bet most of you didn't! How many of you bookmark/link directly to forums? If so, you're by-passing the link (home page, main menu) to the Internet Relay Chat (IRC) room. There are many ways to access the chat room, some of which are detailed here...

Mibbit is the easiest pathway, especially if you're new to IRC. Simply select a nick (your user name here would be perfect!) and click on the connect button. This will send you directly to the room.

More experienced IRC users can use mIRC, IRCle, or XChat. Firefox users can give the Chatzilla addon a shot.

The servers (ports 6667 or 7000) to connect are:

irc.afterx.net
us.afterx.net
eu.afterx.net

Once connected, you type /join #reefcentral and you're in.

I figure with 238,409 some-odd members, we could drum up some lively discussions if even a small percentage of you joined. Lounge members could do their thing live. :bigeyes:

There is a link on the home page. Also on Fridays, if you chat, you'll be ok, If your not used to it, stop by some other time to get used to it. On Fridays it goes pretty fast. Oh, and yes Jim, my bookmark is the lounge. As it should be. Then there's tha local club forum. Then the photog forum. And it goes on and on. I need a life!!!!!
