A chat client is a program (like mirc or xchat) used to connect to a chat network. Reefcentral uses the Mibbit module which allows one to use their browser to connect to the chatroom. Firefox has an addon called Chatzilla which also allows one to use their browser to connect.

I type in my nick, hit connect and it goes through somekind of login then a big black box with a reefcentral tab but nowhere to type anything What am I doing wrong ?
