yes everything works fine as long as I'm hooked up to local wifi network go to another location or use cell nada
spoke with apple and they couldnt figure it out
the problem is the air extreme is not getting the correct numbers and who knows what port the archon is running through even the 80 is its selected

If you go to the setup page you should see myReef Cloud ID. This is probably the MAC address your Archon is using. It uses a different one for wifi than wired. You will need the mac address to setup your router. You can also get this from your router. Unfortunately I have no experience with that router. Also the IP addresses are displayed here. You will need this also. What you will need to do is setup a reserved IP for the Archon. This is done in the router but you will need the mac address of the Archon to do this. once this is setup you will need to setup port forwarding for the Archon. The Archon does use port 80 as the default port. You will probably need someone that is familiar with that router to guide you through the menus for the router. I just wanted to make sure you were able to get into it until someont can help with setting up your router.

no it will not work
real messed up want it to work so bad but i guess only receiving alarm notifications is what ill have to live with until someone can come up with an idea

yes and everything is just like it is supposed to be , problem comes when you try to login in off the home network nothing i enter or was told to enter works . Even called apple and they said the following :
WE DON'T RECCOMEND ANYBODY IN THERE RIGHT MIND TO USE PORT 80
and with that said did everything possible to try to get it to work end result NADDA:headwally::angryfire::headwally:

Have contacted DA support? Eric is pretty good at setting these things up. I have used port 80 since I got the RKE and had no issues. You can use a different port, but that requires a little more setup to do. I have a Asus router and use there ddns service to connect to mine. Without a ddns service that your router supports your outside IP may change and leave you without a connection. The tutorial did not cover that.

Ok so after a bit of fussing today i was able to get it working
how you ask?
the cloud id was not correct and when i went to the setup page and started all over the missing last to numbers came up and everything fell into place and works fine.
Go figure the original archon cloud id number that identifies the device was incorrect by leaving the last 2 numbers off
BUT ALL IS GOOD! Thanks for all the help! :0

Glad you got it going!! :spin1:

Fwiw, I dont use port 80 to the outside world to access mine. I use an obscure port and forward that on to the archon. Works great. Glad you got yours working.

I was thinking a while back about using the ramp function on a return pump. But I never got a controllable pump to try it.
