digital thermometer

So I have the lifeguard digital thermometer and it has worked great until now. I move the probe today while doing some routine maintence.. Now the digital thermometer reads like this

82 in (room temp)
L0 out (water temp)

Why is saying L0 on the bottem vs the correct temp. Tried replacing battery to a new one, got same reading. Any suggestions please?

I have a thermometer I bought at walmart a while ago. When I had my stock hood on I tried to wedge the probe into the airline hose hole and apparently I broke the probe. Now the temperature reads at like 153F or something ridiculous.

Sorry this doesn't help your problem, it's late and I thought I'd share ;)

I'm not familiar with that brand. You may want to take the probe out of the tank...Then take the batteries out of the unit & let it set for a few minutes. This may reset the unit back to the orignal settings.

I only use the PinPoint wireless units in the tanks....If one of them wacks out. This is what I do & every thing goes back to normal.
