I think most of us sue those already, I have had good luck on anything under 300 watts, more then that they dont seem to last.

I have had one of those in use for lights going on 3.5 years now. I used it on my Icecap 660, and now it's used on a shoplight fixture for my FW planted tank.

FWIW: I agree w/ Gary about a controller for a reef aquarium.

I'd pass. I got 2 GE outdoor timers for my lights, and 2 intermatic digital timers for my 2 part through google shopping links and spent about what you'll spend on the harbor freight ones.

they are $15 on the web thats all.
I had mine for about 5 years and i use it for all kinds of stuff. christmas tree, charging a crappy $30 Power drill battery ( that states not to charge more than 7 hrs cont.), had my fuge light running on 1 of these for a while.

I am investing in a controller this time myself :)

I've got both single and dual outlet versions of this digital timer and love 'em! I use them on all my aquarium lighting (blue led, white led, T5 x 2 sets, mh, refugium floods) and kalk stirrer. They've been working without failure for the past 6 months.

Someday I'll get a controller but these allow me to not be in a hurry to choose which one.
