Thanks AQD_ottawa.
I read from the Internet that dimming interface standards demands the dimmers to be quite robust. Encouraged from this I made some tests with the dimmer.
I found out that there is a 14 volt potential difference between the to controllines and applying +/-5 volts to them does nothing.
When I put a ~100ohm resistor between the controllines, I achived to dimm the lamp to the minum. (Dimming took some 45 minutes) When the resistor was removed, the lamp brightened up in ~5 minutes.
I gather that my lamp does not have the 1-10V interface. Does anybody identify what type of interface my lamp has so I might be able to make an adapter for it.
