Dinner suprise

My tank is visible from the dinning room. I'm eating dinner and see the tang doing loops in front of the glass as he always does at dinner time. (Begging)

Then suddenly he lets loose a large gut load of poop. EW!!!! Now thats bad enough right? Well here comes the tank mates AND the tang to eat up the bounty. :eek2: An appetite killer for sure. So nasty.

Damn Robert! I thought you were gonna be giving us a surprise invitation to a dinner, then you go and kill my appetite too!

Thanks for asking, I really wanted to go but I had to help Denise get ready for her trip back to Fresno.By that time it was close to 8, and takes me about 20-25 minutes to get over there. Pretty dang bummed too, I was looking foward to hearing Dr. Ron.

At home with the new baby here. Couldnt make the meeting either.

If the fish keep recycling like this, will the skimmer stop working? ;)

hahah
that's a funny story..

Well to those who missed it, I never say bad things about our speakers, but if I had just showed up for the raffel knowing what I now know.... I would not have lost any sleep if I had missed this one.

It was about 2 hours of eco systems failing because of human interaction with the World (not just oceans), and about 5-10 mins about clean up crews (very interesting and I wished the entire talk was all about this subject)

I was hoping to snag the 12G nano in the raffel but, New2SW (Edwin) won that last night :)

My Scopas Tang (as well as my Yellow Tang) remind me of the Dori personality from 'Nemo' because of the absentmindedness in this specific situation. The tang poops then realizes there's something behind it so it turns and begins to try to eat its own poop. Did it seriously forget that it was the thing that just left that behind?

In last nights talk as well as earlier gained knowledge I learned that most fish have only very short digestive periods so what comes out may very will still be somewhat edible .... Ok now I've lost my appetite.
