Disappearing Clowns

I just added some clowns to my DT after 4weeks in QT. I had bought them with an anemone that they were hosting weeks back. They were in the DT for 3days and took to the anemone again, last night I fed them everything looked good. This morning, clowns are gone, completely gone. They were the only fish in the DT (others finishing up treatment) is it possible that their anemone ate them? I moved all the rock work and could not find any sign of them. This has me perplexed. The only other creatures are 2 skunk shrimp, 1 blood shrimp, 1 coral banded shrimp, and a CUC which is mostly snails and a long spine urchin.

Give them some time, they will probably come back out. Either that or you have a devil mantis shrimp in there.

I know that if the anemone isn't fed enough it will pretty much each anything. I hope you find them though.

Unless the clowns are close to dead already a bubble tip will not eat them. I never fed my bubble tip once and it never ate any fish especially not the clowns it was hosting.

What I'm curious about is HOW MANY clowns you put in?
It sounds like more than a pair, and some could have been picked off.

They are known to be mean quite often, may even harm the other shrimp.
It could be something else, water chemistry or other issue.

All water checks are good, not sure I am going to keep an eye o.n the CBS to see what he is doing. Seems pretty much to itself most of the time.
