Yeah, especially the trees with thousands of migrating birds in them and piles of poop on the sidewalk. THAT would sell some dinnerware.

Some people need to quit being so uptight... 1, It was photoshopped because setting up an elaborate scheme of that is alot more expencive to do then just paying some ad designer to work his college skills on a computer... 2, Its an ad and made to get people to notice which they obviously succeded at... I say they did a good job if they got people talking about it.

So since the acros are dead, I guess that means the plates aren't "reef safe"

The add doesn't offend me. I think it would have been more informed to use live coral pics, not dead. Nothing pretty about a dead reef.

I actually use saucers under the sand for some of my anemones to grab onto, and we used to use dessert plates to spawn discus and angelfish onto. Dead coral is a decoration- like dried flowers- no big deal.
