Dive pics from the Carib

Thanks for posting the pics, I can't wait to get u/w.
I was looking at the u/w housings for the S90 and the Canon housing looks smaller than the Ike housing. What made you choose the Ike housing?
I'm researching the housing right now, but I have to wait to buy the strobes.

The Ike housing is rated deeper than the Canon...plus I liked the solid feel of the Ike housing. I think they are both about the same size. There is a very nice housing made by Fix but it was too expensive for me. I also bought a WA lens by Fix and an Inon S2000 strobe. I got all my equipment at Reef Photo:

Great photos. Fantastic colors and exposures. UW white balance is the bane of my UW photography existence.

Thx all...

I am new to all this but IMO shooting Raw is much better, and easier, then trying to shoot white balance underwater. The problem with setting a custom white balance is you need to do it at each depth you shoot, otherwise you will end up with screwed up colors. When you shoot RAW you really don't need to shoot a custom white balance at all, you simply set the correct white balance in Photoshop or Lightroom when processing the image. I have read that it is important to do both in order to get a consistent blue background but I managed to adjust the blues in Photoshop to my liking.

Nice pictures.....reminds me of when I use to dive odown in south florida. I had the Nikonous with the strobe.
You make me want to go diving again.
