I think that as long as the hybrids are labeled as such and not marketed as a "super rare red ocellaris" or something stupid like that, it's not going to snowball into something bad.

Proaquatix has an a.ocellaris/p.biaculeatus cross called a cocoa clown.

I believe ORA told me that the ocellaris and tomato pairs' nest were actually close proximity to each other and just cross-fertilize.

Maroon + ocellaris are more common, proaquatics (before they belly up) used to have them and a few other hobbyists. The consensus is that their temperament is more like maroon than ocellaris.
