Divers den wrasses

My lfs has a beautiful African exquisite terminal male. not sure if I should attempt it with my pair of Scott's!!!

As awesome as that fish is. I am not going to risk it. He also had about 6 female square anthias and one male but have never kept an anthias so not too sure about them. Would love to get a female or two at only $30. But don't know how many females I would need if I bought the one male. Would the male just hide with no females?

I have a yellow coris coming in this afternoon. I bought a critter tote and drilled some holes on the sides. Will putting sand in the bottom be a must for a coris?

That's what I planned on doing just didn't want to have to rinse out a fresh batch of sand for the box if it was 100% Needed

Yes, and a yellow "coris" is a Halichoeres wrasse; Halichoeres chrysus.

I'm hoping since it is halichoeres the Scott's won't be too hard on him. For $15 I couldn't pass him up if the Scott's are looking like they want to kill the coris while in the box. I will send him to my stepdad. He has 3 tanks going right now

It's been about 24 hours since acclimation. The yellow coris has not come out of the sand. My brother told me his melanurus stayed in the sand for 4 days when he first got it. Is this normal?
