I rescued a small BTA not long ago and,now it keeps splitting.Agood thing but what is the norm. The 2 years my friend had it .It never even really inflated.Yesterday .When I woke up ,I had 2 BTA's.By 5:30pm I had 4 BTA's.Now 2 of those look like there about to pull apart.I dont think this is norm? Will they stop soon?

No that doesn't sound normal. I would wonder what is stressing the anemones out so much. What are your water parameters and lighting? Something sounds like it is definitely amiss here.

Sorry.went out of town.I,ve double checked parametres. All are within range.I failed to correctly explain exactly what happened. You see the original anemone had split a week ago.So what actually happened is both BTA's split at the same time.they had start look as if they would continue to split but I still have only 4 thank god. What do you do with 3 extra BTA'S They would rule my 29gal.I have them in breeder pens but?I will post pics as soon as I get home .

how big was the original anemone? Running carbon may help with anything that is stressing them out. Can you sell/trade the extra anemones at your LFS? Someone in a club near you may buy one off you.

Fully open he's close to 6''.The babies are probaly 2".I ask LFS he said he No thanks. As for selling wouldn't know how or how much .Plus different forum. Thanks though .Maybe if local

I can't believe the lfs said no! Ours here never have any RBTA's in. Only place to get them it seems is an online retailer or a fellow reefer.

Post in your local club forum here on RC. I would be surprised if they don't sell there, especially considering how many reefers there are out in Cali.
