My favorite thing about diving in Hawaii were the Achilles Tangs and sea turtles!

It's spectacular to see these fish out in in the ocean

Hi. Some of the pics are Hanauma Bay and other are right off the coast of Oahu. It was a great time. I really want to take a trip to Turks and Caicos or Bonair (or any other host of great tropical dive sites). :bounce3:

GREAT Pictures. I would love to Dive Hawaii....thanks now I just woke up to 35F Degrees in Michigan, and all I can think about is some good Diving!!!

Looks like you were diving with Tray ( The photographer) Hence the "Hang loose" signs.

We went out with Maui Dive Shop and had a great time.

Is this a baby lionfish or some kind of dwarf species? At any rate, are these endemic to Hawaii?

LOVED that little lionfish!! We wanted to check out Hanauma Bay while we were there, but the park was closed on the day we could get over there.

The lionfish looks like the Hawaiian Green Lionfish (dendrochirus barberi). They are endemic and get 6.5 inches long.

I miss Maui, there is something special about hawahii. It's not as exotic as some places but its pretty kewl if you ask me.

i was thinking the same thing. Get caught doing that and it is a major fine. They are pretty strict about touching sea turtles in hawaii.
