DIY 14 Gallon Nano Lagoon

i thought what made a lagoon tank was the turn over was really slow and little cirrculation not the size of the tank... but if you think your tank is longer then wide... just wait for the pic when i set up my 9" tall by 36" long :p.... but im intrested to see the pic with the overflow done

Hey, I like that definition too... :) What width do you plan on using?

Sounds pretty Sweet BC

Here's the tank, now that it's finished. Shipping should be about 40 bucks +/- a couple bucks.

very nice indeed.... makes my double drilled one look shabby by comparison i wish i woulda make my over flow similar to that..... maybe next time...yeah its a great tank for its shape and il has alot of surface area... plus its gunna have a sweet canopy with 36" t5's... but im fiding LR to fit in a 6"x9" area a bit difficult heh.. especially cuz i cant get anything like deep water tonga, which has the best look to it t think.

Thanks for the comments guys... Unfortunately it looks like I'm breaking down my cube to help finance finishing my basement, maybe there will be a little left over to set this one up after all... ???

Well, there has been lots of interest but no one stepping up on a purchase, my 40 gallon is all but gone so maybe I'll be able to set this up after all! :)

Alright, I've decided to set this one up... I need to build a sump to hold everything first and then start on a cabinet, but my biggest hurdle will be the lighting... I'll be able to get away with PC's since I'm going to take a stab at flowerpots but I want it suspended over the tank. At only 18" wide anyone have a fixture in mind that will work for this kind of application? I already have a 96w Quad but it's a retro and not sure if I should fabricate a fixture that would hold it... Ideas?

Awsome! Yet another awsome tank to follow!

How about an orbit pc fixture...i love mine :)....you could get the 20" one...and suspend it...if that would work...
