Whenever you make your own food, it's pretty much up to you on everything. If you have larger fish... some larger chunks may be better... smaller fish... smaller pieces, etc...

Melev has a nice recipe on his website, which may help give you an idea of proportions to use.

Add equal amounts of atleast 5 different foods...you choose. Make sure to include the nori. I Use the zoecon, kent garlic extreme, and lemon juice (out of those little lemon shaped plastic bottles...just a small 3 secon squirt)....I mix it up and do 5 different ones each time...always using the the same additives I mentioned. I mix mine til its like a paste...not a liquid. I then lay it flat in a sandwhich bag. and lay flat in the freezer. Also hopefully you know you can get the nori and any grocery store in the asian food section. Its only 2 dollars as opposed to 9 dollar at pet store......

No negatives to date. I seen it on a list of ingredients on here I believe. I followed that recipe first few times and my fish loved it. I mix it up every batch now as far as the meats go but the constant ingrediants are zoecon, nori, lemon juice, garlix extreme. Ive mixed it up so many times I cant remember original recipe.....Im guessing its the vitamin c in the lemon juice.....
