Hey!
, i never met any one you guys...and i live kinda far to the East in NY BUT, i'd like to join you? I happen to have atm the perfect monster build fixture,(my very 1st one), that i'm trying to fire up and i'm having some problems with. If you look at my profile you can see the fixture itself. It's alittle unusual 
. I've done diode,short to screw and continuity tests 3x and everything checks. I'm using Fishmans Cat boards and sp-320 and 100 -24 PS. If you pick a date if and i don't have off, i'll try to get it off to attend. I'll bring the whole thing with me if i may?

I think we should start a new thread that doesn't have any technical info in it. I think it was Joe that made this point... the technical info was scaring new DIY LEDers away.

I still wouldn't mind meeting with everyone to see what people come up with. I'll be building a fixture for my coral quarantine tank sometime in the future. Hopefully soon. If the timing is right, I'll bring that along. I'm free most weekends. Someone want to start a new thread proposing a date/time?

Hi all I'm pretty new here and I'd love to swap out my old halides and power compacts for a diy led but the whole process scares me still lol. I feel like my halides are safe and good for sps and lps but I will say I love the coloration of led's and well the budget for keeping halides running vs led i think will make up the difference in buying all the stuff needed to do led lighting I'd still like some more info been trolling through threads here. I'd love to be able to be in the meet up if at all possible.
