DIY Live Rock Meet

I would like to see a couple pics of your DIY LR! I wish I could've been there. Could someone send me the instructions?

Thanks!

Ditto for me? I'm so bummed that I missed this. Unexpected company and a bunch of other snafus kept me away. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Hey John, can you try to post the directions on this thread? If not, maybe youcan just email them to Laverna..

Thanks again, it was a great idea for a meet...
Denise

is diy rock realy that much cheeper than dead rock at .90 a pound and dosnt the cement in diy rock break down in 3-4 years then you have the look of the diy rock for at least a year im not saying it is a bad idea like for frags or a project with the kids but other than that i dont think it is very smart to "cheep out" on the rock that makes your most expensive peice of furniture

Is that the Kennel shop in Lewiston? The one in Augusta is right around $2. They usually have some nice pieces though. Now live rock is another story, $13 a pound... Ouch.

no, DIY live rock made from crushed oystershells and cement.
that was our last swam meeting. we used damp sand for a mold, sort of like building a sand sculpture.
