DLANDINO
D.L. Heritage Rings
Well, it seems that a year away was too long from our great hobby/affliction/addiction. Although I don't have the time to manage a large reef still, I decided to jump back in with an 8 gallon nano. I successfully kept a 2 gallon pico in my office for a few years so I'm hoping that I have the small scale reef down pat. Time will tell.
So far, I modded the tank slightly to relieve pressure from the sump/filtration area from pressing out on the plastic wall into the display by drilling a small drainage hole 4 inches from the bottom. I also re-siliconed the plastic wall to the glass back wall to strengthen the plastic.
Upgraded the light to an AI Prime LED system which is hugely impressive.
Added some used pukani after an acid bath then a hydrogen peroxide soak and two day saltwater soaking.
My cycle is complete and I'll be looking into livestock next! Thanks for looking all!
