The larger of the two on the right is definitely a male, the one on the left looks to be sub-male. I believe the females of this species are all pink, no color change like the males have.
Agree; the left has indications of being sub-male. That being said, a reversion to female is possible if submission to the terminal male occurs.
Seems they can tolerate the sight of each other at least; I'd let it ride with close observation for now. Wait and see; pull the sub-male if problematic aggression pops up.
Thanks for the replies. I have both of these 2 together for about 6 months now and they get in their little tiffs every now and then but nothing too bad.
At least I know there's a small chance it might turn to a female again.
