Do I have a pest?

Hello all, this stylo has been progressively getting worse. It's the only sps in the tank besides a monti cap. I've looked and haven't found any flatworms, as the patches sorta resemble "bite marks". I did notice a bristleworm nearby, but I don't believe these harm coral? I have a goby that occasionally perches on everything in my tank, but really don't think it could damage anything. Is this an obvious, "well clearly this is X" diagnosis? Should I break off the best limb and cross my fingers?

Of note, the patches seem to only be on the top of the coral, not the bottom.

I'll be back with params.

Thanks

Im no expert but i have been reading posts where people are saying that this is like the flesh eating disease or something ??
I forgot what it was called but it seems to be pretty bad
Im sure someone else will chime in soon

I don't think is a pest.

That is not a stylo. Looks a callendrium and what you have for me is STN (slow tissue necrosis)

From the looks of it I would say you had huge KH swing ... which sps definitely don't like!

Agreed. Not a stylo. Doesn't look like typical STN though which either goes from the base or the tips, not the middle. It looks more like RTN where skin peels off. How long has it taken from first noticing the issue to how it is now?

Either way I'd say its not going to survive as is. Break the long stalk off and leave it somewhere in medium-lowish light.

It's been about 2 weeks since I first noticed it and has certainly accelerated. I'll be fragging that stalk shortly. Thanks for the help fellas!
