Most fish will eat them, yes, but when I think of pod competition I think of things like wrasses that will actively hunt them through the day.
A clown may grab what it happens to see nearby now and then, hardly anything to worry about IMO.
Yea I haven't seen either of our clowns really engaging in the hunt for pods... Our orangeback fairy wrasse doesn't even actively hunt for pods, just our mandarin so no competition here.
