Do Sebaes eat clowns?

I had recently acquired 2 semi-picasso clowns and today when I got home from work- could only find but the 1 clown. The clowns are to the smaller side about 1 1/2" long. But the aneomone is about the size of a hand with extended fingers. Could this have eaten my clown? I'm sure it ate whatever else it could 've gotten- I even had 3 boxing crabs in there- can't seem to find them now.
Anyway- I put the monster in my large reef tank- seems like it wants to play hardball- Those guys in there (reef tank) are pretty good opponents!
What is a good anemone for Picasso's? I have seen a list of corresponding anemones and clowns- but Pics are not on the list...

not likely your clown would've had to have been very sick to have been eaten by your small anemone. H. crispa adv. 18"-20", maxing at ~24". now if you had a S. haddoni...

H. crispa sebaes, which according to scott michael aren't a primary natural host but still a natural host for A. percula are good.

Most ORA picasso's I have seen are sick when they arrive at retailers. I purchased two semi picasso's myself. One of them simply disappeared as well. I believe it was eaten by an anemone or elegance coral in my tank, due to its poor health. It would not surprise me at all, if your anemone ate your clown.

If your anemone is H. crispa, I believe it is a good anemone for Picassos.

 Ya, they can eat fish, and shrimp, and snails, and worms, and.................. Sometimes I will feed mine just by dropping a couple of live minnows it the tank with them. Before long they run right into the tentacles.

Well I'm leaning to the fact that the anemone DID in fact eat the clown, as I took the bottom of the tank apart bit by bit- no remains at all of a clown fish. I do not have that many crabs in the tank that would've devoured the fish in that short of time. I checked the filter and skimmer, the carpet all around the tank- no fish.Besides I have egg crate on the top and it would've been a lucky wriggle and jump to get through. BAD BAD Anemone!!!

I doubt a Clown could get eaten from a Nem. I had fish disappear a couple times. And many months later found bones in my overflow when I was cleaning it. And also had a fish jump out behind the tank and took weeks before I knew what happened. I take precautions now...

I've lost two perculas to my overflows and didn't realize the problem until I moved my tank and found the remains at the bottom of the overflow.
