Do these Ocellaris clownfish eggs look like they are ready to go tonight?

I was not aware but discovered my clown laid eggs.. Trying to determine how many days they are along based on the pic.

It is hard to tell with my cam but how far along do you think they are?

No. They look to be day 4 or 5. I'll try and find my series of pics of day 1 to day 8 egg pictures.

They will be much more clear with a distinct silver colour

When they are ready to hatch, you will see their eyes and the egg casings will become more clear.
I think FB is close. My guess would be: they are on day 3 or 4.

Once you start to see silver you should be about 2 days away if yours progress as mine do.

Perfect!! Once the they start getting silvery, I'll setup the larvae snagger every night and see if they break out of their yolks.

Here's a link to a video I took of one of my first clutches last year. It shows what the eggs look like just about an hour prior to hatching and also shows the behavior of the parents (especially the male) tending the clutch.

My larvae snagger worked like a charm. At 8:45pm this evening all of the larvae hatched 7-8 days old. Wish me luck.
