have had a forch coral for a couple months-just got a skunk clown last week and it keeps getting very close to going in the torch like it wants to go in but then backs away-do torchs usually host?

It isn't unheard of for different Euphyllia sp. to host a variety of clowns. Your clown is probably slowly adapting to your torch's nematocysts.

Yes they are on occasion hosted by Torch corals. I would hope it doesnt. They can annoy and cause the torch to not open fully.

clowns can do that with any thing, it helps to have somthing for them to host on that is larger, my anemone is quite small and doesnt open fully because my clown is always buggin it lol

Yea, give it time the clown will probably host it. Mine have hosted a Elegance(not good and was removed), a flower pot coral, and a frogspawn(what they are currently hosting).
