I'm not happy with the exposure on the sand, still seems blown out. But here is my work in progress. I have a few colonies and some frags that seem to get lost, but all are encrusting so its a matter of time.

PS... the lights are dimmed in this picture about 40%!

i think my brother may be able to send some mangroves roots up here if anyone wants some. down in florida it grows like weeds. i used to break them in half and throw them in the ocean when i was a lil kid.

what ever you want, roots, grown roots, trees lol... i'm not promising anything but i can ask to see if he's willing. i owe him big because he helped me most on getting my first tank started. i try to send some coral his way but refused because he was afraid of it dieing.
