As the community has grown to bursting point the question is would we support you better with an independant support forum where tech help can be catagorised so users can find the answers easily?

That would leave the fantastic Reef Central forum for all product related announcments and all things cool.

A link would be posted here all the time directing people to the support forum and a link from that forum back here for product announcments and other cool stuff

After the experiences in the last time I voted with "yes".

It becomes more and more complicated to give quick and efficient help here - I see it exactly like you, Michael.

I will be working on a global support forum in the coming month for the whole world community to have access of.

Please all give me time to bring this online it will take some doing as the community is vast throughout the world

Who would like to help moderate it? this is open to "anyone"

My initial thoughts are this will be a joint venture between GHL Uk distribution and GHL NA distribution but also inviting gobal user to participate.

Please feel free to post here your thoughts on how you would like to see "YOUR" forum set up?

This will be your forum for us to support you better. ;)

In no way will this detract, replace or anything similar from RC, I believe RC has been the greatest success for GHL and we will continue to post here all product related announcements, promos, attending show, and all things non support related.
 
Yes that is exactly what will happen :) I think I mentioned this in the first post.

Our support for UR comes equal to supporting you guys the best way possible
 
Thats the exact reason for the forum :)

it will be run by you guys, its your forum for all tech support just as this forum will be yours also for other related things GHL wise.
 
I think that having your own forum would be a great idea. The REEF CENTRAL forum has been fine however I am sure that the same question gets asked every six months. On the Reef Central forum it is very difficult to find the answer to a problem that you may be having so you just start a new thread. This could easily be solved by having separate areas within a forum for each part of the product.

yes it will provide a much cleaner line of support for such an involved product which all users will benefit from. It will also help us address issues in a more efficient manner and sort out day to day running more cleanly.

I do not at this time have a Profilux, but am actively looking at the product, the capabilites, the accessories, and of course the support.

I am not sure if you are going to make it a private forum for those who have registered their product.

As someone who is looking hard at all the options, this forum has been immensly valuable in making an informed decision.

Yes the dirty laundry is aired for all to see(to those like myself who do not currently own a unit).
And negative comments would stay hidden in a closed forum.
But the same negative comment may also apply to a competive product and the same negative statements are made in the other product support forums.

But please keep in mind that all products have issues and not all products have all the options.
By finding this forum, I have also become familiar with the product and is making my choice a great deal easier.

By the way, I believe that this is an extraodinary product, and when the ver III is released, there really won't be anything to touch it.
