Awesome. What do you want to study in college and what do you want to do?

University of Florida and study Veterinary medicine. :)

So lessans, have you made any recent decisions based on your first post?

Yes. No, anemone. If you guys are trying to make me feel capable of having a job with my classes and extracurriculars you're not helping. It only makes me feel bad ok. Besides The local fish store has had my application since the end of my sophomore year. The reason they haven't hired me is because the people working at the store have had many more years in the hobby than me, so the employer gets more experience per dollar he pays them than if he hired me. I'm starting to look for jobs now. The reason I haven't had a summer job is because every summer I've been away from home for at least 2 consecutive weeks and I don't think my new employer would like it too much if I am gone within the first month of being hired. Do you see where I'm coming from?

Dude, this is just a hobby.
College will help you have a good life, and afford a killer system later when the time is right.
You're doing the right thing.
Just keep your hobby simple for now.

Honestly I would have bought MH if I did have a job that started out in the summer between my sophomore and junior year, but that's not the case.

LTA Lighting Needs

LTA Lighting Needs

While cleaning my canister filter I found at least 4 baby LTAs which I kept to put in a small tank. They are quite healthy too! Now I really wonder about the lighting requirements since the ones I found were totally in the dark?!??!!

It doe snot look like LTA to me, however you are right is that it does not look like Aptasia. Feed them for a few months and keep us update. Doung that they are LTA.

I would not yet rule out that those could be Aptasia. I think, only time will tell.

Did you ever have had Aptasia in that tank?

Yes I have. These ate totally different. I have a large aptasia in another tank and these don't look like that one at all. Time will tell. ..

I understand they have been in the dark until recently. Hopefully, now out in the light, they will pick up some Symbiodinium algae and color up. At that point things should become clear.
