Absolutely, our power was out for 3 days and if not for the little generator running the tank all the inhabitants would have died from low do, low temp, etc.. Highly recommend folks in the northbay get a small generator; mine is very quite, puts out 2300 watts and I got it used of CL for not much.

My power is on in Petaluma near Lucchesi park at this moment. Hoping it stays that way.

The increase in winds, increase in fire area and new evacuations in the Santa Rosa area are scary. My heart goes out to those affected.
 
How's everyone holding up, hope everyone is ok. We lost power for about 5 hours when a huge gust made a tree fall down the street and one of the branches made some power lines touch and blow a fuse. Thankfully PG&E was able to come out and just reset the fuse but of course we still have no Comcast service so we're relying on Nixel alerts and Google alerts to keep us updated.

It was 38 degrees here in Santa Rosa this morning when I took the dog for a walk at 7am, it must be like 20 degrees over there!!!! [emoji26]

Our household has been very lucky. No power loss, no evacuation.

Even got to host our 3 y/o granddaughter and her father for several days. Lots of fun hanging out with a VERY energetic kid!
