Do you like the Gemmatum Tang ?

Hello,

The gemmatum is now in the 320 gal tank of Pingu and this tang was a little agressive with the other fish.
But now after 2 or 3 days it's ok !!!

Personally, I agree. I think the Gem is more attractive than the black, but I think Purples, Powder Blues/Browns, Achilles, Nasos, are all more attractive fish than the Gem.

I like them not because they are amazing looking, but because they are different. Thats why people want them, because putting a gem tang in your tank, makes your tank unique and different because its such a rare fish. On the other hand, I would never pay $3000 for one, maybe $350.

That's why Pingu has bought one, this one has cost less then 300$ !!!

yeh, thats what i would want one, but in America finding one for $300 is impossible, but if they were $300 I would buy one for my new 55g.

I paid the gem tang about 230 $... It not cheap for a fish, but really cheap for this one !

This fish is a really beauty, and I love him. But I can unterstant that a lot of people would prefer to buy a zebrasoma xanthurum or a flavescens

I personally like the fish, although not sure I would spend that much.

Do you know if someone succeed with two gemmatum in the same tank ?

Pingu have the possibility to buy another one, but even in a big tank I think it's not recommended !!!

For the price u say you are paying for them, just tell him to cut his restaurant budget , instead of going 2 or 3 times to a restaurant , eat at home and go buy a bunch.
For this price, it'll be rude not to.

Trust me, a bunch of flavescens or xanthurus is much more beautiful especially if you can put your hands of Large xanthurus.
