Doc's Reef 2014

One Happy Reefer
After neglecting my reef for one year (the fish were not neglected, they're fat and healthy. Haven't lost any in years,) I back to caring for it and challenged myself to bring it back to its glory.

The remaining SPS coral that survived are tough as nails!

My parameters are stabilizing now.

Hey Harry,
What about some updated shots?
I remember you took out the slimer skeleton and added new sand.

That app, while manual, does seem pretty cool. Esp. since you can also track how dedicated you are to testing.

Are there any machines that can continuously test for Ca, Alk, Mg? The way an Apex can check and track ph, etc?

If the tools exist for a hospital then it could exist for a tank. Not saying it would be practical....

Funny you should ask, I just charged my Canon dslr battery. I'll take some new pictures this week.

Not sure of the automated monitoring of parameters.

I placed my GoPro camera in the reef tank looking out into the office for 4 hours and found some interesting clips. You can't see much of the reef but the fish are fat and happy. Next time I plan to place the camera in a better angle to capture more of the reef.

OOoooh, bring it to the meeting so we can take a vid of Richie's huge fish!!!
