Does BZ carry their fish in stock in their own facility?

I am wondering if Bluezoo takes care of their own fish or are they live LiveAquaria, which has their fish sent from QualityMarine?

I've purchased fish from them before and was happy with what was sent. I am just wondering if they keep their own fish livestock.

Thanks....

Live Aquaria does both. Divers Den are "treated" fish in their own facility. Live Aquaria is sourced by Quality Marine. Guarantees are the same no matter the source. All fish are guaranteed no matter the degree of difficulty. BZ houses their own fish some of which are not guaranteed.

Thanks for clearing that up.

BZ has 2 red sea regals that doesnt come with a 14day guarantee. I feel a little more comfortable since the fish has been under their personal care.

I know QM does a great job with their livestock too.

I saw them too, but was wary.
They say red sea regal, but their range includes Indian ocean.
I wonder if they're really from red sea or if its from sumatra.
Strangely, they don't have other red sea fish in stock(semi, purple, sohals).

Well I think the only guarantee about the red sea regal is that it is a yellow belly regal.

it could easily be from one of the other places that yellow belly regals are collected from.

Hope that did not come across as a negative comment. I have had great experiences with BZ. Just thought I remember hearing they were a front, thanks for clearing that up.

well i emailed my contact guy from BZ and he gave me some very specific information on the "red sea regal angels". so they do have the fish under their own care.

Yeah, I've just bought from BZ twice and was very happy both times---they had a specific fish I wanted. I called and (forget the name, Mark?) left his office, went to another area was looking at the very fish he was about to ship, described it perfectly. But, no guarantee on an expensive online purchase still makes me jumpy. I know that the dealer has to eat the price when a fish is shipped to someone who shouldn't be buying it; but all the packers and handlers along the way are involved too. All in all; I still prefer a "no-guarantee on some fish" online dealer to any LFS within 300 miles of me, by 100 to 1.

BZ and PAF are in the same building near LAX so I would say they are one in the same. PAF has the front wholesale side and BZ has a section in the back with some raceways and a few fish holding systems.
